Hello there! I am so grateful that you stopped by! As you may have noticed, I totally enjoy photography! I also LOVE Harry Potter, reading, playing the violin, and am left-handed (proudly 😁). I have been interested in photography since I could utter my first words (OK, when I was around 8 or 9). Since I was pretty young, didn't have a job, and barely owned $10 at one time, I took my pictures on a Samsung tablet as well as a few different point-and-shoot cameras. Let's just say they weren't the highest quality photos you'll ever see 🤣. However, it definitely gave me some good practice. Refer to some examples below:

     Even though I had a point-and-shoot camera (off and on), I wasn't blinded to the fact that my camera was on the lower end. For years on end, I wanted a DSLR, but because there weren't really any DSLRs that cost $30 or under (my price range at the time), I couldn't purchase one. For what seemed like eternities I lived a life without a DSLR. I would search for what seemed like hours (and they probably were 🤣) on eBay, Amazon, and a number of other sites for an affordable used DSLR. Eventually, after many many hours of browsing and progressively becoming more frustrated and angry, I found a DSLR (it cost roughly $45 with shipping included)! I had some money saved up from working at Wendy's for four days (please don't ask 🤣). The DSLR that I had found was on eBay, was used, and didn't realize until after I purchased the camera that it didn't come with a charger or battery. In addition to that, the seller hadn't tested the DSLR and it was an "as-is" camera. But, I decided to take my chances and let it ship to my house. I found an off-brand charger and battery on Amazon that was within my price range. 

    After what seemed like about an entire month, the packages arrived. Thankfully, the camera turned on and worked like a charm! I use that exact camera to this day.    Alrighty...about blogs. Yes, blogs. I have probably about eight unfinished blogs. I have a teensy weensy problem where when I have an idea and turn it into a blog, I become very unmotivated after a period of time (sometimes a day...don't laugh). Here are some examples (don't judge, I made some of these when I was 12): 1, 2 (yes, this is a photography blog I tried to start a while back), 3, 4, aaaannndd 5. If you checked these out you may have noticed a common theme: they don't have more than two posts. So, you ask, how is this blog up and running?! During the whole COVID-19 quarantine thing, I decided I really wanted to do something with my photography because I was suuuupa bored. I told myself I was NOT going to give up on this blog, and so far I haven't. I also don't plan to anytime in the future! However, the whole quarantine thing wasn't the only inspiration for this blog. My 6th-grade teacher also loved photography and was one of my most favorite teachers of all time. He also loved traveling, so he created a blog of his traveling adventures paired with his photography. I also decided I wanted to try (keyword here...try) to make some money off of my photography. For whatever reason, I have a deep desire to be an entrepreneur and make money off of my own business. So, I set up a RedBubble account for PicPerfect where most of my photos on this website are featured.
